CleanSpace Respirators in Thailand, Supplied by Air Repair

Air Repair is the official CleanSpace Technology distributor in Thailand, supplying powered air-purifying respirators (PAPRs) for construction, mining, welding, oil & gas, and healthcare environments. If your team needs respiratory protection that’s comfortable enough to wear all shift, we’ll help you choose the right CleanSpace system and get it to you locally.

Choose CleanSpace by hazard, not by model

Every worksite has a different hazard, and every hazard needs a different respirator. Rather than choosing by model, tell us your environment and we’ll point you to the CleanSpace unit built for it. Hose-free, belt-free powered air.

Why Choose a CleanSpace Powered Air-Purifying Respirator?

Disposable and half face respirators rely on a tight seal and the wearer’s own lungs to pull air through a filter. In hot, humid conditions, which are common on most Thai worksites, that seal is hard to maintain, and breathing resistance builds up as filters load with dust. Workers loosen straps, remove masks between tasks, or simply stop wearing them properly, and protection drops with them.

A CleanSpace PAPR takes a different approach. A battery powered fan continuously delivers filtered air into the mask, maintaining positive pressure so contaminated air is pushed out rather than drawn in. CleanSpace’s patented AirSensit technology adjusts airflow to match the wearer’s breathing, and because there are no waist mounted battery packs or hoses, the whole system sits on the face and head only, making it lighter, less restrictive, and easier to wear correctly for a full shift.

CleanSpace respirators are air filtering, fan assisted, positive pressure systems designed for environments where there is enough oxygen to breathe safely. They are not designed for oxygen deficient atmospheres, IDLH conditions, or protection against gases and vapours unless fitted with the appropriate combined filter. Your Air Repair contact can confirm the right configuration for your specific hazard.

The CleanSpace PAPR Range

CleanSpace’s current respirator range covers a spread of industrial and healthcare applications, each built around the same AirSensit powered platform with different facepieces, filters, and certifications:

  • CleanSpace WORK: CleanSpace’s lightest industrial PAPR, built for high dust workplaces such as welding, construction and woodwork, with an approximately 8 hour battery run time.
  • CleanSpace CST PRO / CleanSpace CST ULTRA: advanced PAPR platforms with extended run time of up to around 14 hours, higher peak airflow, and compatibility with a broader range of particulate and combined filters for more demanding or longer shift environments.
  • CleanSpace EX: an intrinsically safe PAPR built for potentially explosive atmospheres, certified to IECEx and ATEX, for oil and gas, petrochemical and processing sites.
  • CleanSpace HALO: a compact PAPR developed for healthcare, laboratory and pharmaceutical settings, with an IP66 rating for cleaning and disinfection between uses.

Each power unit pairs with a choice of half masks, full face masks, and particulate or combined gas filters, so the same platform can be configured for dust, welding fume, or, with the correct filter and EX rated unit, hazardous atmospheres. Filtration efficiency of up to 99.97% and CE, NIOSH, and AS/NZS 1716 approvals apply to the CleanSpace platform generally. Exact certification depends on the specific model, mask, and filter combination, which we’ll confirm for your application.

We’ll be publishing dedicated pages for each system shortly. In the meantime, our team can walk you through CleanSpace CST ULTRA, CleanSpace EX, or any other model by phone, email, or a site visit.

CleanSpace by Industry and Application

The right CleanSpace configuration depends on the hazard, not just the industry. As a general guide:

  • Construction and demolition: cutting, grinding and demolition generate fine dust, including respirable crystalline silica. A lightweight PAPR such as CleanSpace WORK maintains positive pressure against leakage that disposable masks can struggle with on hot sites.
  • Mining and heavy industry: long shifts, humidity and wash down requirements call for a sealed, IP66 rated unit with longer battery life, such as CleanSpace CST PRO or CST ULTRA.
  • Welding and metal fabrication: welding fume requires reliable particulate filtration that does not add breathing resistance under a welding helmet. CleanSpace WORK is designed to pair with common welding headgear.
  • Oil, gas and processing: anywhere a spark is a hazard, the respirator itself must be certified not to become an ignition source. CleanSpace EX is intrinsically safe and IECEx and ATEX certified for these zones.
  • Healthcare and laboratory: clinical and pharmaceutical environments need a respirator that can be cleaned and disinfected between uses without compromising the seal or filtration. CleanSpace HALO is built for this setting.

Where a workplace involves more than one hazard, such as dust and heat, or fume and confined space, tell us the details and we’ll recommend a configuration rather than guessing from the industry name alone.

AirSensit Technology and What Sets CleanSpace Apart

CleanSpace’s AirSensit system is a breath responsive control that increases airflow as the wearer inhales and reduces it on exhale, rather than running the fan at a fixed rate throughout the shift. This allows CleanSpace units to run for hours on a compact, head worn battery without the weight of a belt mounted pack. If the system cannot reliably detect breathing, it automatically switches to a constant flow safety mode and alerts the wearer, ensuring protection is maintained either way.

Because CleanSpace units use loose fitting or specifically designed facepieces depending on the model, fit testing requirements vary by product. Some configurations reduce or remove the need for annual quantitative fit testing. We’ll confirm this for the specific model and mask you’re considering, as this affects your workplace’s compliance programme.

Which CleanSpace System Is Right for You?

Choosing between CleanSpace WORK, CST PRO, CST ULTRA, EX and HALO comes down to four questions:

  1. What’s the hazard? Particulate dust, welding fume, an explosive atmosphere, or a biohazard or infection control setting.
  2. How long is the shift, and how demanding is the environment? Heat, humidity, and shift length affect the run time and IP rating you need.
  3. Does the site require intrinsic safety? If there is any risk of an explosive atmosphere, only an EX certified unit is appropriate.
  4. What mask style suits your workforce? Half mask, full face, or loose fitting facepiece, including compatibility with facial hair, glasses, or other PPE such as welding helmets.

Rather than guessing from a spec sheet, send us your hazard, shift pattern and headcount and we’ll recommend a specific configuration, including mask size and filter type, before you commit to a quote.

Why Buy CleanSpace from Air Repair in Thailand?

Sourcing CleanSpace directly from overseas means longer lead times, import handling, and no local point of contact if a filter, mask, or spare part needs replacing quickly. As the official CleanSpace distributor for Thailand, Air Repair holds local stock across power units, masks, filters, harnesses, and spares, and can advise on the right configuration for your site before you order, not after.

Working with Air Repair means:

  • A local, Thailand based source for genuine CleanSpace power systems, masks, filters and spares
  • Advice on selecting the correct system, mask size and filter for your specific hazard
  • Straightforward pricing and quotations in THB
  • Ongoing access to replacement filters, masks and accessories as your program runs
  • A direct contact for technical questions, rather than a generic overseas support queue

CleanSpace Pricing and Availability

Air Repair maintains a full, itemised CleanSpace price list covering power systems, sales kits, masks, filters, harnesses and accessories, updated for 2026. Because pricing depends on the exact configuration, including the power unit, mask style and size, and filter type, the fastest way to get an accurate price is to tell us about your application and let us put together a quote, rather than working from list prices alone.

Not sure which CleanSpace system fits your hazard?

CleanSpace isn’t one size fits all. The right unit depends on what you’re protecting against, not just your industry. Tell us your environment, shift length and headcount, and we’ll match you with the CleanSpace setup built for it.

FAQ about CleanSpace in Thailand

CleanSpace is an Australian-designed range of powered air-purifying respirators (PAPRs) built around AirSensit breath-responsive technology, used in industrial and healthcare settings worldwide. AirRepair is the official CleanSpace distributor in Thailand.

A PAPR (powered air-purifying respirator) uses a battery-powered fan to draw air through a filter and deliver it into the mask under positive pressure, rather than relying on the wearer to pull air through the filter by breathing. CleanSpace's units are worn entirely on the head, with no waist-mounted battery pack or hose.

Through AirRepair, the official CleanSpace Technology distributor for the Thai market. Contact us for product advice, pricing and availability

The current range includes CleanSpace WORK, CST PRO, CST ULTRA, EX (intrinsically safe) and HALO (healthcare), each compatible with a choice of half masks, full face masks and filters. See the product range section above for guidance on which suits your application.

A PAPR maintains positive pressure inside the mask using powered airflow, reducing reliance on a perfect seal and lowering breathing resistance, which matters for comfort and consistent wear over long or hot shifts. The right choice still depends on your specific hazard and any applicable workplace standard.

CleanSpace offers particulate filters (up to 99.97% filtration efficiency) as well as combined particulate/gas filters for specific applications, depending on the power unit and mask. Filter selection depends on the hazard present at your site. Ask AirRepair to confirm the right filter for your configuration.

Tell AirRepair the hazard, environment, shift length and any certification requirements (such as intrinsic safety for explosive atmospheres), and we'll recommend a specific power unit, mask and filter combination.
